Other research has examined the effects of L-lysine on wounds, bone fractures and muscle injuries. The findings suggest that lysine plays a positive role in bone and tissue repair; therefore, it may have the potential to help athletes recover from injuries and intense workouts.

Winners of 2014 IFBB North American Championships and IFBB Pittsburgh Pro Masters

HGH.com-Sponsored Athlete Tara Silzer Named Overall Women’s Bodybuilding Winner at 2014 IFBB North American Championships in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania recently hosted two major International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) competitions – the 2014 IFBB North American Championships and 2014 IFBB Pittsburgh Pro Masters Championships. Hundreds of athletes competed in a series of events on August 28, 29 and 30, including men’s and women’s bodybuilding and physique as well as fitness, figure and bikini. Officials ranked the contestants in numerous sub-category contests and named overall winners in each of the major areas, and nearly 100 athletes were designated 2014 IFBB North American Championships Pro Card Winners.

HGH.com-sponsored athlete Tara Silzer participated in the 2014 IFBB North American Championships in Pittsburgh and proved herself as a top competitor. Not only did she win first place in women’s heavyweight bodybuilding, she was deemed the overall winner in women’s bodybuilding. She also earned her IFBB pro card as a result of her performance.
